Character Interview #3
The heroine in A Spring Retreat is Beth McGregor. Beth inherited the family farm when her father died and has worked every day since to make it a success. She’s feisty and tough but her life doesn’t leave much time for romance. And anyway, she’s like one of the guys.
As part of the writing process, I like to flesh out my characters with quirky details and background to make them feel real. This sometimes includes a character interview. Here’s the third interview in the series.
These are the answers I imagined Beth giving at the start of the novel. I’ve edited it a little to remove spoilers!
Beth was an amazing character to write and I’m not in the least surprised that Murray fell for her!
